I feel stupid to say this, but i've never seen the Labyrinth until yesterday. Seriously. I love the Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. What I love about those movies is how intense the characters designs are and the variety in designs. They are so elaborate and really gives the viewer a sense of a whole new world. There's puppets that aren't even the main characters that are basically just background like bugs, birds, plants, and such. I love that sense of detail.
I really like Brain Froud's Goblin designs so amazing, so much variety, and character in each one!
This makes me want to throw up. I know it's just a name "femforce" but that name implies feminism to me but then I look and I can plainly see it's not. They are completely over sexualized, boobs hanging out and shit. In my opinion anything that comes from a man can NEVER be considered feminism, it actually insulting to even pretend.
You know what else I don't care for, Zenescope's Grim's Fairy Tales. Even though I love Nei Ruffino coloring work. I do not like way that the women characters are portrayed, they all dress like male imagined fantasy hookers. I also don't care for how the Zenescope character designs re-circulate DISNEY's designs and imagery. It's like Seriously there is so many variations of those fairy tales and so many different illustrators that have drawn them...you have to use the Disney's version? SERIOUSLY?
(right Scott Campbell) (Left Disney's Maleficent)
Have you seen Scott Campbell's Fairy Tale Calender? I'm sorry, but yet again it HEAVILY borrows from Disney imagery. Seriously. Campbell used a similar dress design and a similar scene between Captain Hook and Tink that happens in the movie. Nothing unique just a "Disney" character in his style.

I'm not trying to take a crack at Campbell. I like Scott Campbell, and I love Danger Girl, but I hate Disney's influence over him.
WATCH THESE VIDEOS it's about Disney

This pegasus lights up, it actually lights up purple but sadly the photo makes it look blue.
btw it's totally a raver.
I've been wanting sweetie belle forever. She has sparkles on her horn and her heart designs are way cute.
I think this unicorn is rad, love that teal and purple.
LOL Starfish and Bowtie playing in the dream castle hehe
This one is cool too, it's horn and feet light up and make magical sounds. This one is a man unicorn. lol

Here's an illustration by Gustaf Tenggren. I'm really into drawing trees right now. I've been heavy into finding as much inspiration for the types of trees.
Heres a sketch I made i was working on Love Buzz...I think the picture explains my feelings perfectly...maybe I'll post some of those pages later.
A paint chat sketch of a hot outfit. If you haven't tried paint chatten you need to! Seriously I use to paint chat all the time, and the other day. I was feeling spunky! So I hit up Niko's Paint chat for some fun!!! Niko's Paint Chat Go GO! register and draw! it's easy and fun! Helps to have a tablet but I know some people who can rock a mouse.
Look at this awesome dragon! WOW the detail and texture is amazing. I found this artist Benoit Billion the other day while I surfing Deviantart. This guy is super talented and has a patience of a saint! Go check him out stat all of his work is good. Behydezell Deviant Gallery.
A drawing by E. Norelius. I love that tree. The branches are amazing, so eerie.
This one i loved because of the color and how the folds in the fabric make all those lines which is really awesome. I also the fact that it's see through is a nice touch. :D A Catwoman sketch I did, I love catwoman. She should always retain her catlike sex appeal.
I dyed my bangs, it's been awhile since I've dyed my hair any crazy color. For awhile I felt like I out grew those crazy colors but Heleyna talked me into dying my bangs rasberry.
Anyway, I've decided to start a sketch blog, where I can talk about comics, post sketches, examine inspirational things, and maybe talk about revelant events. I'm not sure what all quite yet, but I've been meaing to start a blog. I've been dragging my feet for awhile now just because I have so many accounts to maintain, but I'm in the mood to start something new.
I don't ususally like blogging. I think I sound like douche bag along with everyone else who part of this blogging trend, but unfortunatly going agaisnt the trend is pointless. Blogs, Twitter, Myspace, Journals, Facebook, and so on are all tools that help advocate you. It's nice that these kind of tools allow you to promote yourself and your ideas to a greater audience, but you don't always know whose reading your thoughts. dun dun dunnnn
